The American Psychological Association (APA) in collaboration with the Alabama Psychological Association (aPA) proudly present 

"Policymakers, Persuasion, & Story-telling: Best Practices in the Advocacy Setting" Presented by Stephanie Reeves, FASAE, CAE, Deputy Chief of Public Policy and Engagement, APA Advocacy Directorate and Doris Parfait-Claude, MPP, Director Grassroots Engagement, APA(1 CE)

During this session we will go over best practices for in-person meetings with government officials (state or federal) to advance issues important to psychology. This will include what to expect during meetings, how to comport oneself and how to effectively communicate one’s message. 


This event (and 1 hour CE) is FREE for aPA members and $25 for non-members.
